THE TRUSTED TRANSITION PROCESS®

Clear. Consistent. Complete.

While there are countless factors to consider when it comes to buying and selling dental practices, one of the most important is what happens during the transition. These types of transactions are not only about the dentists doing the selling and the dentists doing the buying. It also affects a building full of employees and a long list of dental patients that would rather not see any major interruptions in their schedules.

To help with your dental transition, DDSmatch has put into place what we call the Trusted Transition Process. This process is designed to ensure that even as a practice undertakes a change in ownership, the employees at that practice can still count on a paycheck. All the patients with forthcoming appointments can count on the new owner of the practice to honor their calendars.

There are many different aspects to the Trusted Transition Process, each of which is designed to make sure the incoming dentist can pick up where the outgoing dentist left off. This can involve DDSmatch helping a new dentist visualize what they want for themselves and their practice moving forward, but it also involves finding the best match possible for those buying dental practices for sale. It even makes sure that current employees don’t see any disruption in their benefits as the practice turns over to ownership. In a nutshell, the Trusted Transition Process exists so only the buyer and seller notice major changes. For everyone else, the transition should be as seamless as possible.

The Trusted Partnership Process

Clear. Consistent. Complete.

While DDSmatch facilitates the sales of many dental practices each year, we also do great work in matching aspiring dentists with existing practices in need of some help. While hiring an associate dentist can seem like an easy enough process, it can be challenging to find a dentist that is going to work best in the culture of your practice. Knowing that you could spend a good chunk of your career working with this person, is imperative that you get the hire right.

That’s where DDSmatch can help with our Trusted Partnership Experience. We can help existing practices sort through the several dentists looking for associateships through our search engine. There are many ways this process is effective in finding this match, but we often will start by taking stock of what the dentist and the associate dentist want to get out of their careers together, and then we use personality tests to make sure they’ll be a good match.

Sorting through applications, resumes, and references can feel overwhelming, especially when it’s a decision as big as hiring an associate for a practice. Thus using the DDSmatch search to find a potential good pairing and then allowing our experts to make sure the fit really does work is perhaps the best approach to finding the sort of partner who will share your love for dentistry and your vision for where you want the practice to go moving forward.
